I am proud to announce that Cadet 0202 Patrick Raised $136.00 for Make A Wish at his first ever fundraiser on Saturday Oct 23, 2010 at the Live Oak Civic Center in Live Oak Texas. He and his sister Cadet 0203 Vivienne who was under the weather the day of the event. They made the signs, gathered the items and Cadet Patrick manned the booth. He felt the need for going Jawa at the fundraiser because he was raising money.

On October 23, 2010 at Discovery World Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin I trooped to raise money for Make~A~Wish Foundation. The all day troop included a fashion show with members of the 501st Legion, and Rebel Legion. There were displays of costumes and props, plus lots of opportunities for pictures. I trooped as a Jawa and Anakin Podracer at different times during the day. Over 3,000 people attended this event with a portion of the ticket sales being donated to Make~A~Wish. Many of the kids attending this event were dressed in costume and now know about The Galactic Academy.
Hopefully we will have many new recruits from Wisconsin!
It was September 4, 2010 when the Star Wars Festival II in Taunus Wunderland / Germany took place. The German Base Yavin of the Rebel Legion had invited the independent Imperial group "The White Sharks", the "Order of the Force", the "SWLGG", the "Star Wars Dinner Nuernberg" and independent Rebels and Imperials. During the event I met even an independent Mandalorian Bounty Hunter clan.
Our goal was to bring joy and fun to the children and adult park visitors. And I think we succeeded. It was a wonderful day and I had a lot of fun too.

Brick Library Presentation

CTB0143 Aaron rocked his Shadow Scout, and CBH0053 Logan wore his Jango Fett. We both participated in the presentation to the attendees, which entailed a discussion about the 501st and Rebel Legions and the charity work they do, plus a Q&A and trivia quiz for fun. We then handed out trading cards and circulated the crowd, posing for pictures and signing autographs. Aaron has signed autographs before, but this was Logan's very first time with cards and kids approaching him. Even though he is only 5 he absolutely LOVED it and signed over 30 or so autographs all by himself, the kids were so polite and we were so professional and fun about it, even the adults were in awe :)

The River-cade Parade is Sioux City's premier summer event with thousands of people attending. I spent most of the parade high-fiving kids along the parade route. My mom is the Royal Guard (TR-1788) and my dad is the Shadow Trooper (TX-3966)

Myrtle Beach Pelicans Minor League Baseball Team

On 7/17/2010 the Myrtle Beach Pelican's hosted the 501st Legion & Rebel Legion to their annual Star Wars game night. These three cadets' father is a member of the 501st Legion (IS 8174) and because they were in costume; they were invited to come out on the field. Luminari Unduli Sierra & Leia Organa Hope accepted the invitation and was able to walk out with the Legionnaires. Padme Angel opted to stay in her seat, enjoy some pizza while styling the best in Naboo fashion. They had a great time at the ball game, and were the subject of many a photo opportunity. They had a great time and in their own way, represented the Academy well.

It was a very cold day so my father made a cap for me which I wore instead of the Youngling helmet. I trooped together with members of the Rebel Legion and Star Wars Dinner Nuernberg.
Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra last Halloween. Both my kids (and others) participated in the event, although my daughter only has the Harry Potter costume (I'm trying!!).

Scienceworks Star Wars Expo 2009
Venue: Science Works Expo, Melbourne, Australia

The science works expo went for 6 months in Melbourne, Australia, from June until November. We were asked to be involved in the filming of the TV advert, then after the filming of the adverts we stayed to see and help with the Expo. Rebel Legion, 501st and Starwalking all helped with the Expo.
